Extended parking is always a hassle. Pay $50 for 7 days and the card will not scan. Such a pain and spending a fortune on parking while your critically ill family member is there for weeks.

This parking deck is in a great location and provides access directly to UAB hospital. My go to parking deck if I have to park for an extended amount of time! Prices are equal to others and this one stays busy!!

It was great parking place. The fees were awful for being there for over a month. Was never given clear instructions on where to see about pay passes. Found it out last day and the don’t do refunds. All in all very safe place to park

Went to visit a friend. License tag recognition makes it easier to exit. Parking spaces are narrow. Need designated area for longer vehicles, such as, king cab trucks.

Great help when you need it. Recommend taking a photo of the floor sign so you will remember where you parked the car. Clean and well lit

Seamless entry and exit system payment system. Parking gets full pretty early, not really a gripe, just the nature of a major hospital.

This is a poorly managed deck that is a hazard to anyone near it.

Firstly, the deck has 4 ticket gates in total. Half of the time there is only 1 gate letting people into the deck and 1 letting people out of the deck. This creates a buildup of traffic both in the deck and in the streets that leads to the two entrances to the deck.

Secondly, the indicator lights were a waste of money and resources that could have been used for another project to make the deck more convenient for visitors. The lights are supposed to show green when a spot is available, but red when a car is in that spot. I've seen plenty of spots that had a vehicle in them, but the light still showed green.

Lastly, nothing is done about larger vehicles or vehicles with carriers on the trunk parking on the ramps. These vehicles turn the up and down ramps into a single lane because they block one lane with the end of their vehicle.

UAB is supposed to be the best hospital in the state. You would think that the deck would be a lot more functional than what it is especially since the price for parking is so high. DO BETTER UAB!
