Aladdin Airport Parking - San Diego, California

This was the worst experience. The parking garage appears to be secure, however, their shuttle service is at best unreliable.

We arrived the day before we were leaving on a cruise. We had been told that when we dropped the cars off, a shuttle could take us back to the cruise terminal. We had a hotel for the night right across from the cruise terminal. This was not the case. They only provide a shuttle to the cruise terminal on embarkation days. As a result, we needed to Uber back to the hotel. If they provided additional details like that, we could have planned for the additional cost.

On disembarking day, it was pouring outside. We were able to see the shuttle picking up others to take to the parking garage. There was not enough room for several people, so we waited there, in the rain, until the next shuttle arrived. When the shuttle finally arrived about 10 minutes later, it drove past all of the people waiting and stopped about 1000 feet away to those waiting under the canopy.

At that time, we determined that the shuttle was unreliable and unpredictable, so we walked over to the taxi section. This was a whole other disaster. We ended up having to pay $75 for 3 cabs back to the garage.

We were drenched to the bone. We noticed that all of the shuttles didn't appear to be running. This was incredibly frustrating. The rain was predicted, so it seems reasonable to me that they would be fully staffed and that did not seem to be the case.

I would choose zero stars if I could. We will not be using this parking facility again AND I will be telling others to not give them their business. This was an unfortunate way to end an otherwise amazing vacation.

Been parking here 20 plus years. Never again! Their plan for the reconfiguration of the shuttle routes between terms 1&2 put me in the shuttle for 20 minutes, after waiting 15 minutes for pick-up. One mile to and from with light traffic. Ridiculous. Quit charging your premium prices if this is the best service you can provide. Similar experience for my last three trips this month.

Easy, safe, and convenient. I've never self parked here, but I will tell you that the valet is well worth it. Shuttles are running often and are quick. I've never had an issue, and my car is ready when I get back. Staff is pleasant and professional.

Had a great experience parking at Aladdin. The shuttle was convenient and quick to and from the airport. Getting in and out of the facility is straight forward and close to the freeway. My only suggestion for improvement would be to post the location the shuttle picks up at the airport upon your return — we got completely lucky seeing it drive up or else we would have had no idea where to wait.

This used to be a great place to park. For some reason their "shuttle" is really hit and miss now. Assume at least 30min from the time you parked until you get to the airport if the shuttle isn't there when you get to the pickup spot. Same for coming from the airport.

They have like 10 shuttles, most are parked all the time. Their app doesn't work, so don't bother using it to find them. Been like this for a year now.

Their countdown timer at the pickup spot just cycles 15min countdowns....so it's pointless too....but funny, if someone asks when the shuttle will leave, they point at the cycling timer like it means anything...?

I have used them for years but I'm afraid I'm done with them. I read a few reviews on here that they had gone down hill, more like fell into the Grand Canyon. I got to San Diego after a long day from Georgia with delays and crowded planes, got my luggage and went to the pick up area and joined a whole bunch of mad people that had been waiting 30 minutes. When the shuttle finally came it was bedlam. I was the last one that managed to get in by refusing to leave mostly. Got to the garage and two other shuttles are just sitting there with drivers in them. I called the next day and complained, the manager was apologetic but it was clear that he goes home and the employees quit working. He had no clue that he had a problem. Got to be a better way.

We used to always park at Aladdin for airport parking. They were always great, we always felt our car was safe, and they always picked us up quickly and got us to and from the airport on time. However, our recent experience negated all of that. We parked our truck for a week on the rooftop parking while we went on vacation. Our flight got in at 8:30 PM and the Aladdin van was right there to take us to the facility. When my husband went to get the truck, we found that our left rear window was broken and someone had robbed our truck. Fortunately, the only thing they got was some spare change. When I went to do the incident report with their employee, she told me that there were four other break-ins that week (all different types of vehicles). She also told me that they would not be responsible for any damages and it is printed right on the ticket. They even charged me $165 for the parking! We ended up not getting out of there until 10 PM. The next day, we received an email from Aladdin's insurance company, informing us that they had denied our claim, and would not be responsible for any damage to our truck. We let our family, friends, and neighbors know what happened and how they treated us. Those friends and neighbors will no longer be parking at Aladdin, and neither will we.

Been using them for years but looks like they are starting to fail us. The 10 minute turn around time has gone to almost 30 minutes the last few pickups and if you are in terminal 2 you might not get a seat and have to wait another 30 minutes. Need to go back to the same amount of drivers as before. Looks like they are using less drivers and having to wait longer to get picked up at the airport and hope you get a seat because of. I travel every 4 weeks and looks like I will need to find another company to park with.
