The "Exercise Patience" Convention of Jehovah 's Witnesses was given there the weekend of June 30th-July 2nd. Very faith strengthening event. No collections, everyone was very nice and orderly. The Convention will be given every weekend in July at no charge.

Location is perfect for Liacouras Center, obviously. But on lvl5, 45 min after getting to my car and not a single other car in sight has moved. The prospects of me backing out are near impossible and the only unoccupied car in view is directly in front of me have me thinking they need to optimize this process. It will be over an hour until I physically exit the building.

If you’re going to the Liacouras Center for a sporting event or a show, good luck parking here. It’s nearly impossible getting in or out and you’ll be stuck on the small back roads in traffic. They were guiding people to the parking garage even though it was full and we were stuck for an hour waiting before we luckily found street parking and nearly missed the beginning of the show we attended. You’re better off finding street parking a few blocks away and walking.

After being kicked out of our parking at the Conwell Inn nearby and dealing with other stress of being in a city we'd never visited before, actually parking here was a fine enough situation. However, trying to pull in here during the event, we have never been treated so rudely by security staff. They had a pull-along sign to see them at the gate and every time we pulled up to the sign exactly where they left it and where the guard was standing, the guard would be visibly frustrated right off the bat and we would be screamed at for following the sign... EXACTLY WHERE IT WAS, as well as following her constant hand gestures to pull up TOWARDS HER which was apparently still wrong, we just were expected to read her mind while she yelled at us 4 times over, naturally throwing everyone into a needless panic. They would not move the sign or clarify where to go until the guard scoffed at us and walked away to pull another guard out while she had a temper tantrum about us. The second guard made excuses for her and we were finally pointed in the right direction after all that nonsense and stress for no reason. Just don't understand why you have to be rude to make a point and I hope this will be handled more professionally in the future, for security reasons or otherwise, as it was straight up unprofessional.
