This is a beautiful place to explore. I recommend everyone to visit! There isn't a shower or hose to rinse off so keep that in mind when packing up to go.

Fish weren't biting and the weather was poor but there were plenty of open parking spots and a plaque to read about a Spaniard and French battle. Can park here to get to the bridge to fish, but expect a walk.

Very pretty inlet. Ramp and stairs that lead to the water from the parking area. Parking is very limited but going on a weekday midday we were able to find a spot with many still open. There's probably about 20 spots, maybe 15.
Not much shore and lots of trees but trees are perfect for natural shade. Water is murky from the sand but my kids didn't mind. Kid friendly due to the lack of waves but not many shells on the inlet side. Lots of trash cans and recycling cans in the lot but no bathrooms at all. Will definitely come again during the week.

First time visiting this park. Not too crowded - plenty of space between visitors. There are no restrooms- but they have several porta-potties available. (Not too bad) - bring your own tp just in case. 😉 Limited parking here so get there early. Overall a pretty spot, but you’ll be schlepping all your beach gear down a boardwalk to get to the beach. It’s worth it though. Very pretty spot.

Matanzas inlet is so beautiful and you see more marine life action than any other beach in st augustine. This is a great beach to pull up close on your boats and jet skis or to use your paddle board from shore! I love using this location to set up wedding proposals for my clients with The Perfect Event! The sunrise and sunset are so pretty to watch?
