I stopped by for a quick shopping in a weekend morning. They had fresh produce and condiments. Everything looked so fresh and alive, i was confused which one to buy! A nice family owned business. Give them a try

Absolutely love this market and their staff. Fresh produce, lots of necessities, and the best selection, quality and price on bouquets in downtown. Any time I want to brighten my house or bring something to a friends house I pop in here to grab flowers. Thanks for being an amazing neighborhood staple!

I've had it on my mind to write a review for this place for a while. I've been coming here off and on for the 14 years I've lived in JC. The Kimchi is the best I've ever had; Its a secret homemade flavor you can't get anywhere else and its made in house.
They also forgave me for breaking some eggs all over the floor one day and replaced all the broken ones. It was just a kind thing to do and shows they are a good family run business that cares about their products and community.

I stopped shopping at this grocery store since I read that they complained about the closure of Barrow Street. They pretend the closure of the street is affecting their business. What a non sense. Closing this street was an absolute necessity. Now Newark av pedestrian mall is striving. This is selfish behavior. By requesting the reopening of the street (the store is not even on that street) it means they don't care for their customers. They don't care of public interests and quality of life they only focus on old fashioned car only urban development. If their business is failing it is not because of the street closure, it is because whole foods opened and mostly because of nearby store Oliva has more choices and way cheaper price. I recommend everyone to shop at Oliva instead of depressing P&K store.

Best spot for produce and groceries in all of downtown Jersey City. I have never been disappointed with their avocado selection (or any of the produce) for taco Tuesday (or any day)! Not to mention this is a family owned and operated business, so the level of service and care is always there. I have been coming here for 9 years and can only say great things about this market! ❤️

This is easily my favorite market in the area. The produce is good, the prices are fair, and the service is good. You usually see the same people working every day seems like a family run store with loyal employees.
