I lived at Sparq for a year and a half, and I wouldn’t have left if I weren’t moving out of commuting distance. Camisha, Guillermo, and the rest of the team are top-notch and truly care about making Sparq a great place to live.

Location: SoFA district is close to downtown San Jose with plenty to do (Pobladores Night Market, Jazz Festival, First Friday). It’s near bus stops, light rail, and Diridon Station. SJSU and SAP Center are nearby, and there are several grocery stores and a YMCA within a short drive. Easy access to 280 for commuting.

Parking: The building uses Klaus parking stackers, which are safe and efficient. Never had any issues.

Sparq Team: Camisha is friendly, responsive, and keeps residents informed. Guillermo and the custodial team are quick to respond to maintenance requests. Everyone is incredibly friendly.

The Apartment: Fantastic east-facing view with beautiful sunrises. Great storage, modern appliances, and excellent soundproofing. Reasonable pricing for the area.

Overall, I highly recommend Sparq to anyone looking to move to the downtown/SoFA area. It’s a great place to live with well-equipped apartments and a convenient location.

Would not recommend this apartment.
- Noisy construction and road closure everyday.
- Unreasonable water and sewage charges
- Unreasonable move out charges (even if the apartment is completely cleaned up)
- Klaus Stacker is so hard to park and use
- No onsite gym

A great property close enough to downtown to walk and enjoy dining and nightlife. A quiet place to live and enjoy San Jose. Well maintained and a wonderful Property Manager who goes above and beyond to help her residents.

I’ve had a wonderful experience living at Sparq. Camisha is responsive and attentive, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. Overall, it’s been a great place to stay!

I thought I would give Sparq a second chance as I had many problems my first time but it was one of the cheaper options in the downtown area. I highly regret this decision. Never have I experienced such greedy money-hungry property management. Just read the Yelp reviews. Or lookup Woodmont real estate. Horrible. The one upside was maintenance Guillermo was super helpful and on top of anything that was needed. I also had some mail issues that Camisha happily resolved after move out.

The location in downtown San Jose was great. Everything was very walkable. The property manager, Camisha, was the best. She created a sense of community by hosting events. Guillermo was very knowledgeable and timely with all the maintenance and repairs.

I just wanted to come on here to write a thank you to Camisha. She made my year at Sparq a great experience. She genuinely cares so much about her tenants & the community as a whole. She was always so responsive and prompt through out my entire time there whether it was regarding my unit, parking, or a concern. She’s genuine and you can tell she really takes pride in her title & goes above and beyond for her tenants. I will miss her, thanks for all ur help and Sparq is lucky to have you!
