I visited this Target 2 weeks ago. It’s a small location. Neat and clean. They do have certain items locked. That’s because of shoplifters. It’s widespread all over LA.
I got exactly what I was looking for. A stainless steel garbage can and a small vacuum cleaner. I was in and out in no time.

Target has gone full recession core locking up every aisle. Good look getting what you need in a reasonable amount of time when you have to wait for an employee to unlock a door for each and every necessity. Don’t worry the candles aren’t locked up, just anything you actually need.

They don’t have half the items most targets do, and half their self checkouts don’t work anymore. Compared to the target off 3rd and La Cienega this one sets a horrible example. They also just turn off self check outs at night, so you have to wait in a line with people with more items. Black/Brown neighborhood treatment.

Update 4/11/2024: I was told they won’t even use self checkout here anymore. Combine that with half the items locked up, I’m surprised they don’t just close the store since the whole thing is so dysfunctional.

I go to target to shop. Not to use the bathrooms. Love how I feel secure while shopping around as here in La, there’s never a shortage of crazy days. And the Michaels next door is very nice to have

Went to this target yesterday to buy a pillow and this employee stopped what she was doing and stared at me really strangely, it made me super uncomfortable, I will never be going to this Target ever again.
The only good thing was that checkout was quick since there was no line.

It was nice and convenient to have a Target close by, but Id rather go to the trouble of going further out.

I love the little boutique island of miniature toiletries, for travel purposes. One of my favorites is the watermelon scrub and gel, although there are so many nifty and great-smelling products at this display. I purchased a handful of different ones, the first time I came here, after it had been a while.

Overall it was the Latino manager who was the most rude, and unprofessional! I was looking at a 600 cannon Vlogging camera and they have no displays or information about the product. I asked them to hold it upfront while I looked at the product on my phone. Sandra came out and said she can't hold it very long? Idk why? It was safe behind the counter, and I purchased all of my other stuff. I was even told by her to "go to Best Buy", and said that they are $50 more witch she replied with "they price match". I have spent 376 dollars @ Taggert the past week & I have always had a good experience. This was my last trip to Target. If she wants me to take my business elsewhere! Get you store n order if your going to sell products have info cards if no display. Treat PAYING CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT! Business 101.. 1 star

I was upset about this until I went back and spoke with Mathew about Sandra and he unprofessional attitude and disrespectful 2 paying customers, and he assured me that it would be taken care of.
I am adjusting my rating because the customer service team was very helpful and nice! Not Sandra!
Michael Amini adjust my score to three stars but I still have to go to Best Buy.

Don't bother shopping here for things like soap, toothpaste, shaving cream ... all if it is under lock and key and Target does not employ enough attendants to timely unlock. Not just some items, ALL ITEMS -- all shelves and goods are in plexiglass wardrobe cabinets. Yes, shoplifting is a problem, but having items displayed but unattainable due to lack of staffing is not a solution. There are many other stores nearby offering the same items -- I'll be going there in the future.
